Gulmohar's, a treasured name in Sint Maarten, proudly upholds its legacy as the oldest purveyor of fine spirits on Sint Maarten.

In 1972, Mulchand Mahtani laid the foundation for this family business. The vision of Gulmohar's was a commitment to excellence and Mulchand's desire to bring fine spirits to Sint Maarten.

By 1990, the reins had gracefully shifted to Gulu, Mulchand's son. United with his wife Vinita, they embarked on a  mission and placed Scotch at the heart of their journey. Together, they unveiled an array of once unheard-of Scottish Whiskies (many of which are now a part of everyday life on the island).

Today, the promise of tomorrow rests in the dynamic spirit of the third generation—Chats. He honors the foundations laid by his family by welcoming the world of Bourbon to Gulmohar's.
 

However, that was not enough for Chats; Chats expanded his family's legacy by introducing the quiet oasis of LuxBar in 2022.
 

LuxBar is where all whisky enthusiasts gather—a place of solace in Sint Maarten. LuxBar stands as the region's largest privately owned whisky bar. While LuxBar may be new, it continues to show the old school legacy that Gulmohar's established:  family, quality, passion, and extraordinary spirits.
